This kid

Frances is on Vinalhaven, and having a great time at her cousin's wedding. EATING CAKE! Which was the most exciting part. I can't wait for her return tomorrow night, I miss this kid.

France by 50

I have a goal that I am working towards. I'd like to be living in France when I turn 50. Hopefully Paris.
However, I am concerned about the new state of American-French relations. I am trying to figure out Sarkozy visiting Bush in Kennebunk. I can't quite wrap my head around it. Where did it come from? I thought the relationship between us would heal with our new President (hillary?, obama?) and Segolene Royal. That was my little fantasy. But, Sarkozy warming up to Bush makes me wonder.

Ticking Orders

To all whom I owe a garment made of Ticking,

Your continued patience is truly appreciated. I am having difficulty garnering a ticking order that was put in at the beginning of July. Thus the hold up. I am expecting the fabric by Tuesday, and I will be on a real race to the finish next week. I hope to make all ticking pieces, and have them sent out by next Friday. Then on to making the new line, and open studio blouses, and I am really trying to come up with a great little coat.

Slow Start

Update for everyone...
The sewing room is up and running. I am filling orders as fast as I can.
Frances has gone to Maine with her Papa for a few weeks, and is having a great time visiting her old stomping grounds. Tomorrow she leaves for Vinalhaven. I wish I could post pictures.
