Le Bouton Update

I hope anyone who is waiting for their Le Bouton order is reading this. Today we are making the big move up to Venice, and I have been packing all weekend. I thought I had escaped from any packing responsibilities, citing my sewing schedule, but no. So, patient readers, the first spot to be set up in the new house will be the new Le Bouton corner of industry. Your orders are topmost in my mind, and I am anxious to send them out!

Frances has opened a very discreet shop in her room. So far she has her sign out, but I'm not sure what is for sale just yet. Her shop is called The Bff.

Success in Venice!

At last, a place to live in Venice. Even if it is only for three months... I hope it has the feeling of this place.

Drive in Maine

I am beginning to question our move to California. Trying to find a place in Venice has gone beyond humbling. I thought to look through some old shots to see if I could post something, and I saw this series from a drive we took in Maine one day. It was probably in April, and the weather was like this for a good stretch. We had to get out. We drove up route one from Rockland to Blue Hill. Stopped at Chase's Daily for a cherry tart that I still think about from time to time. Maine, Maine, Maine.
