this past month i've been in portland, maine as a resident of the Quimby Colony. this is an artist residency with a focus on fashion design, textile work, and the culinary arts. it's been great! made good, good friends, and made clothes, and had a month to think about it all! above is an image that was on the quimby open house invitation. when i return home, i'll have images of what i was working on as well as links to all the cool people that were there.

sounds like an amazing experience, lisa! wish i were back in boston so i could visit chelliswilson more often...looking forward to seeing what you made during your residency!
