just finished this dress, and i really love it! it is made of a tropical weight wool, with a pretty texture - a little rough. black. and, the bias trim is hand stitched on to the body (no harsh sewing machine stitch to disrupt the grace). this fabric hangs so nicely! the body is long, with the skirt starting at the lower hip. the skirt falls to a few inches above the knee.
