It's for real!

We are going to live on the island of Vinalhaven for this upcoming school year! We are so excited, and in a state of disbelief (almost)! This most beautiful island, which I have always wanted to be part of year-round will be our new home. It is a paradise for children, and the school is excellent! Frances will be going into third grade here. I am writing this from the internet cafe that is run by the high school students. We don't have blogging with pictures capability yet, but I hope to start a new blog soon that will capture the beauty, and adventure of the day to day here.
More to come soon!

Lisa,
Congratulations, what an adventure!
You and your family must be so excited-so different from L.A.
Also, congratulations on your pieces being at Chelliswilson.

Congratulations, Lisa and Frances! Maine seems like a much more sane & natural environment than California, especially for raising a child. You are a very lucky lady!
